One of the most
beautiful islands in
Trang,
Koh
Kradan
is in
the Andaman Sea and located about 40 minutes by
boat from the mainland with the area of 600
rai(240 acres), most of the island belongs
to Hat Chao Mai National Park. The rest are
privately owned rubber and coconut
plantations where are now become the area of
many resorts.The Island
offers good
restaurants and accommodations for tourists.
The most striking feature of Ko Kradan is
its powdery, white beach and crystal clear
water that permits a great view of the coral
reef underneath. The reef stretches from the
beach northern end to the coast. A variety
of colourful fish inhabit the shallow water
corals making the site perfect for
snorkelling. Ko Kradan is to the west of Koh Muk and
Koh Libong. From

(Formally call Koh Mook Pier)

visitors can take a long-tail boat around 50
minutes to Koh Kradan or from Pak Meng Pier
takes a 1.50 hour to Koh Kradan. For more detail how to

Travel from Trang city : By share minivan (200 Baht per person)
or private minivan (900 Baht per trip) to Kuan Tung Ku Pier then get a
long-tail boat to the resort with cost 1,000 Baht per trip for longtail
boat reservation please call 088-0113200. It might be best to
simply book a transfer to save yourself a headache (and have to pay a lot of money).
Nowadays, many visitors travel by the
ferry from Krabi (Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi). The ferry route departure
from Krabi to Trang (Koh Mook and Koh Kradan) everyday then go further
to Satun (Koh Lipe) vice versa.
It would be better to prepare enough cash to
avoid paying extra charge with more amount
than it should be and also some place not
accept a credit card.
